Procedure for obtaining an Arnot Forest Hunting Permit

THIS INCLUDES ALL HUNTING SEASONS

INCLUDING SPRING TURKEY

You must use the current application form.*

We cannot accept a copy from a prior year.

Follow the instructions to prevent delays!

1) Complete the top portion and hunter’s signature (marked by an X) of the permit application in blue or black ink and send it (no extra copies are needed) with your enclosures to:

Print neatly. (Do not fill in the CUP Permit # or Land Mgr: Permit #.)

2) You must enclose the following with your permit application:

a) completed Hunter’s Journal for 2004-2005 (if you had a permit last year and hunted game other than deer)

b) $17.00 fee (make checks payable to Cornell University); if you are sending more than one application one check with the total amount is adequate. You may fax in your application with a MasterCard or Visa, include your credit card number and expiration date, and three digit security code from back of card, to 607-255-2815.

c) deer hunters must include a completed Earn-a-Buck Participation form

e) self addressed stamped #10 (business sized) envelope.

3) The deadline for receipt of permit applications is OCTOBER 15, permits will take at least 2 weeks to be processed. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!! If your permit or other required information is received after October 15, your check will be returned and your name will be added to next year’s mailing list. The deadline is not set by our office and we have no control over it.
