Bruce Lauber joined the Department of Natural Resources as a graduate student in 1992 and continued as a staff member when he completed his Ph.D. in 1996. He conducts research on the human dimensions of natural resource management. His research focuses on how citizens become involved in natural resource management and how decisions are made about controversial resource issues--particularly issues involving overabundant wildlife populations.
