Ellen C. Harris joined the Department of Natural Resources in 1979. Ellen serves as the
Administrative Assistant for the New York Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit.
Her responsibilities entail preparing and accounting for Research Work Orders and other
binding contracts; balancing the Unit’s federal budget; maintaining federal filing
system and manuals; tracking and preparing quarterly, monthly, and annual federal and
University reports; making travel arrangements and processing travel reimbursements;
handling correspondence.
