James Tantillo joined the Department of Natural Resources in 2001 as a
lecturer. His teaching covers environmental philosophy and ethics,
environmental history, science policy, and animal ethics.
His recent research is in the ethics of wildlife fertility control.
He is also Chief Executive Officer of Historic Ithaca, Inc., a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to historic preservation and building materials conservation and recycling.
